Following an initial Breaking Down the Barriers inaugural conference on the 19th January 2017, we are pleased to present to you two five-minute films focussed on the importance of improving mental and physical health awareness training for the NHS workforce.
Funded by Health Education England (North, Central and East London), Breaking Down the Barriers aims to support enhance existing knowledge and skills of the NHS workforce across primary and secondary settings by equipping them with the appropriate information, education and training to improve awareness for early recognition, assessment, management of care and untoward referrals of people with mental and physical health needs in their care.
Mental and physical health awareness training downloadable resources are aimed at education, training, learning and development, continuing personal development teams, networks and nursing educators across NHS primary and secondary care settings. Breaking Down the Barriers training resources can be downloaded via the e-learning for Healthcare (e-LfH) website.
