We would like to hear your views on the draft Local Plan.
The Enfield Local Plan (ELP) 2019-2039 will be the key planning policy document for the borough. Once adopted, it will contain policies that will set the spatial direction for the borough to 2039 and beyond and will be used in determining planning applications.
The draft Enfield Local Plan sets out how growth will be delivered in a sustainable manner that maintains and enhances the quality of the many distinctive places that make up the borough. In addition to addressing Enfield’s acute housing crisis, it also enhances infrastructure provision and access to green spaces and nature, improves biodiversity and tackles climate change.
The draft ELP was approved for consultation at an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the Council on 9 June 2021.
All those who work, study and live in the borough, businesses, Third Sector organisations and any other interested parties.
Details of the consultation, including the draft Local Plan and proposals map, in addition to the questionnaire, can be found on our dedicated consultation webpage.
