Confident Parenting

Being a parent is the most important job you will ever do, but can be full of challenges. Dealing with a child’s difficult behaviour can be an emotional time for all the family. There is no set ‘how to parent guide’ but there are strategies you can try to confidently deal with problems, create effective solutions and bring out the best in your child. Dealing with unacceptable behaviour in a calm and confident manner can help you stay in control of situations and help your child understand their limits and boundaries.

Try to develop an open relationship. Be supportive and let your child know you are always there to listen. Talk, seek advice and support.
