  • Per Lui

    This ever-popular store has become an institution of Enfield Town, having traded for 30 years. The staff pride themselves on good customer service and consistent high quality of the goods they sell. Per Lui has all the wardrobe essentials, including footwear and accessories. The beauty of Per Lui is that it has some really big ticket brands – Ralph Lauren, Lacoste and Michael Kors – brushing up against some more recognisable urban wear. The store is known for its great selection of jeans in plenty of styles. Per Lui may have been around for a long time but it’s firmly got its sights on the twenty first century, with an app that allows customers to keep abreast of in-store offers. Not only does it have loyal customers, it also has loyal staff, which has helped the store forge friendships and maintain loyalty, locally. Its staff’s fashion tip for 2017? Go wild! Step away plain Janes (or Johns) and go for patterns and colour contrasts.

  • JS Finn

    Inside JS Finn, Enfield

    If you are looking for some quality brands and a collection that knows its fashion credentials, take a trip down to JS Finn. The store, run by Jonathan Finn, has a host of brands from Boss to Gant, Superdry to Canali. The beauty of the store is that it features both casual clothing – weekend jackets, slim-fit shirts, hooded knitwear – and business wear including blazers, suits and smart trousers. It really is a haven for the gentleman looking to update his complete wardrobe. Jonathan says the key theme looking ahead to the new season is stretch and slim-fit, with Boss jeans standing out in particular. Also, you can never go wrong with a classic Boss polo shirt to take you from the office to a night out or a date. The store itself is nicely set out with spacious changing rooms and staff on hand to help you with all your fashion needs.

  • Men’s Room

    Inside Mens Room, a clothes shop in Enfield

    Men’s Room is a real shopping experience. Not only do they stock very high quality clothing and footwear for gentlemen of all ages, the store is artfully decorated in retro memorabilia and even features arcade games and retro gadgets. It’s a little New York loft meets Hoxton trendies – without the pretension of course. If you can tear yourself away from the quirky décor and very comfortable leather seating, the clothing range is extremely tempting. Scotch and Soda, John Smedley and Grentons are some of the key names – usually you’d have to travel into Central London to find these clothing and shoe brands. The store also stocks some lovely accessories, perfect if you are looking for a tasteful gift for someone special.     Footwear for sale at Detour, Enfield

    Detour has been open for 40 years offering a wide range of brands at excellent value for its loyal customers. The solid wood floors and neatly arranged shelves are reminiscent of the menswear shops in Mayfair and is a real delight to wander through. Detour prides itself on helping its loyal customers and as a result, has a careful selection process when looking to bring in new stock. Brands include Schott, Replay, Tommy Hilfiger, Gabicci Vintage, Lee, Police and Fila. It currently has an excellent collection of hats and footwear. The stand out collection at the store as we head into spring, is a range of beautiful collared shirts in a broad range of colours, all in a good fit and great fabrics. So, set your route for Detour – it’s a real gem on Fore Street with clothing that offers great value and style.

    Sage, Enfield

    Made Man is proud of its high calibre clientele who often come from the music industry or football world. It’s also a go-to place for celebrity stylists, keen for their clients to be seen in the latest fashionable threads. Who knew this was on our doorstep in Enfield? While stocking brands such as Cotton Citizen, RH45, Thom Krom and Diesel, its buyers go to cutting edge trade shows and fashion events all around the world to find exclusive brands and fashion-forward names, only recognisable by those in the know. Its Instagram site is a great way to see what’s new in the store and what is a la mode. Its ethos is highend concept clothing, accessories and lifestyle and the store oozes with innovation from the world of fashion.

  • Stations

    Clothes for sale at Stations, Enfield

    If you’ve never been to Stations, you are in for a treat. You will be blown away by their huge range of Levi’s clothing, rubbing up against Fred Perry, Franklyn Marshall and Ben Sherman. Open since 1981, the store has a massive selection and offers fantastic value for money for those who want to look sharp but ‘street’. It’s not just about the jeans though. Stations has some lovely casual shirts, collared t-shirts and polo-shirts for that slightly more dressed look in a variety of colours and patterns. It also has a good footwear range, particularly boots in fantastic hues and finishes. In addition, there are clothes for children and, with a nod to its broad and loyal customer base, Stations is stocking a large variety of sizes, especially for the stockier gentleman.

  • Route 66

    Shoes for sale at Route 66, Enfield

    Open since 1979, Route 66 has a wide range of menswear clothing including jackets, shirts, hats and even a fantastic vintage range. Keith and Michelle Davis, who run the store, offer a veritable Aladdin’s Cave of clothing and are particularly proud of their suits, with a three-piece starting at £99. The store has a broad range of customers covering all ages and sizes. Brands to look out for are Guide London, Duck and Cover, Morley, Trojan, Gabicci. Its range of Failsworth caps are particularly tempting and it has a great footwear collection offering colours and finishes for the safer fella to the more adventurous fashion aficionado. It prides itself on offering high quality labels at palatable prices, alongside excellent customer service.
