Lee Valley Walk

Part of the Lee Valley Walk

Curious types with huge stamina and a love of walking can always give the 50-mile long Lee Valley Walk a go, or if they don’t fancy walking the whole length there’s a particularly pleasant stretch which winds its way through Enfield.

The walk itself is a long distance path from the source of the River Lee near Luton to the River Thames, while the 13-mile Enfield stretch starts at Broxbourne and terminates at Walthamstow Marshes, taking in attractions such as Turnford and Cheshunt Pits, the Broxbourne White Water Canoe Centre, the Royal Gunpowder Mills and the former Enfield Royal Small Arms Factory.
