Do you need help?
The COVID-19 pandemic is a challenging time for everyone. The online form is no longer available, however, we want to help local people to support one another and provide essential services to people who need it.
We are prioritising support for those residents who are in isolation and unable to rely on family or trusted friends for adequate support.
All requests will be triaged according to needs and we will prioritise the most vulnerable in the first instance:
- People with COVID-19 who need to self-isolate
- People extremely vulnerable to coronavirus
- Over 70’s
We will be offering help with the following:
- A friendly phone call
- Weekly basic food parcel delivered once a week for 2 weeks
- Financial hardship
- Picking up medicine / a prescription – We are working closely with local pharmacies and have made arrangements with them so that we can support you. Please contact your pharmacy or your GP (whoever arranges your Prescriptions) and they will arrange delivery .
If you need help with any of the above, please call the Community Support Line on 020 3821 1966. Lines are open Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 4:30pm
If you have a prepayment meter and you are having problems getting to or topping up your meter, you need to contact your supplier. Citizens Advice has some useful information about what to do.
British Red Cross have recently launched a Hardship Fund to provide financial support for the most vulnerable during the coronavirus crisis.
