Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy (JHWS)

The Enfield Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy (JHWS) sets out how the Enfield’s Health and Wellbeing Board will work with local people to improve health and wellbeing across the borough.

Following a 12 week consultation to which over 2,000 responses were received, the JHWS 2020-2023 was formally agreed by the Health and Wellbeing Board on 26th September 2019. Our four priorities are:

  • Having a healthy diet – making healthy choices;
  • Being active – promoting healthy lifestyles;
  • Being smoke-free – increasing smoke-free community spaces and supporting young people to not start smoking;
  • Being socially connected – providing opportunities for social interaction and linking people to positive social networks;
