Formed in 2014, Housing Gateway Ltd is a wholly owned Enfield Council company. It’s founding purpose was to assist the Council in reducing its temporary accommodation budget pressure. It offers Assured Shorthold Tenancies against which the Council can discharge its homelessness duties.
Since Housing Gateway’s inception, it has built up a portfolio of 544 homes and a strong balance sheet. It has provided a quality housing solution for 742 families and hopes to continue expanding to support the Council’s aims, eradicate the use of temporary accommodation and, prevent homelessness.
