Enfield Council has put its name behind the FSB (Federation of Small Businesses) London Business Awards which seek to put the spotlight on the achievements and successes of small businesses based in London.
The Enfield Business of the Year award will go to the business that demonstrates outstanding initiative, boldness and entrepreneurial imagination, as well as sound management practices. Applicants for this category will highlight their exceptional triumphs during the last 12 months; judges are sure to be dazzled.
Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Economic Regeneration & Business, Cllr Alan Sitkin, said “There has never been a better time to do business in Enfield. We have large numbers of small business start ups choosing to relocate to our wonderful borough of opportunity every day.
“FSB offers the UK’s leading business awards and will allow our borough’s many successful small businesses to showcase their talents. Today I am putting a call out to residents to enhance Enfield’s great reputation by going online and voting for one of our many thriving, successful small local businesses.”
The free-to-enter awards, open to all businesses not just members of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), are easy to apply for on the Business Awards London website. This year's awards will be presented at a glittering Grand Final on 28 July at the Pullman Hotel St Pancras. They are open to all businesses based in at least one of the 33 boroughs of London that commenced trading before January 2014. Firms that started up after January 2014 can enter the new business category.
