Enfield Council has set up an independent company to provide adult social care services to residents.

Independence and Well Being Enfield has been providing a range of services to adults since September 2016 to ensure that Enfield Council maintains a high quality service for its adult social care clients in an environment where resources are increasingly scarce.

Services provided by the company include Community Equipment Services, Well Being Day activities for more mature members of our community and others with disability related needs. Reablement Services are also available to enable people to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible.

Enfield Council's Cabinet Member for Social Care & Health, Cllr Alev Cazimoglu, said: "This company reflects Enfield's approach to caring for an older population and people with physical and learning disabilities, and underlines our commitment to providing excellent services against a backdrop of reduced resources and funding.

"Independence and Well Being Enfield provides personalised and sustainable solutions to the challenges that Adult Social Care services are experiencing. The focus is on positive outcomes for the people using the services and their families.

"This is an exciting venture which promotes Independence and Well Being within our vibrant community."
