Enfield Council is holding a jobs fair to help match up out of work residents and businesses looking for workers.

Enfield Council is holding its next job fair at the Green Towers Community Centre in Edmonton.

The event will be held on Wednesday 20th April 2016 between 10am - 3pm at the Green Towers Community Centre, 7 Plevna Road, Edmonton, N9 0BU.

The fair is open to anyone resident in Enfield who is currently looking for employment, training, apprenticeships or advice.

More than 25 businesses will be in attendance including Sainsburys, Greggs, Ardmore Construction, Stansted Airport and many others who are all looking for employees. Could you be one of them?

The most recent job fairs attracted over 300 people, and many who came along were invited back for interviews, undertook training, gained more skills and ultimately got a job. Every employer who attended reported back saying they had gained between 15-20 applicants, and were very impressed with the quality of candidates.

Cllr Alan Sitkin, Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Economic Development said “Every single person in Enfield, regardless of age or work experience who is looking for employment, training, apprenticeships or advice should attend this fair.

“Previous job fairs have reported back that both applicants and employers found the day rewarding, informative and a great tool to get a job. Enfield Council will do everything it can to help all our people to find good jobs and we really do hope you take advantage of this."
