Enfield Council has put together some tips to make sure you stay well as the temperature falls.

One of the best ways to keep healthy is to stay warm. You can read more on the Healthy Enfield website about some simple measures you can take in your home to improve insulation and make you more comfortable.

Also, the flu strikes during the winter period an it can be more serious than you think. Some people will be eligible for the free flu vaccine. To get your flu jab this winter find out more here.

Remember, you can  get the flu jab for free if you are pregnant, are aged 65 years or over, have a long-term health condition (check which conditions are eligible) or are a carer. All primary school aged children will be offered a flu vaccine and children aged 2 or 3 years are also eligible.

You can also speak with your pharmacist if you are not feeling well. To find your nearest pharmacist, go to the NHS Stay Well website.
