The coronavirus pandemic has profoundly changed our working and, for many of us, our personal lives. During this time, Enfield’s Safeguarding Adult and Children functions have continued to respond to concerns about abuse and harm.

Our Safeguarding Partnership work has evolved and we have adopted new approaches to ensure we can continue to effectively deliver our assurance and practice improvement responsibilities.

We have transitioned to working from home and to using technology such as video conferencing to host our safeguarding work. However, where face-to-face is necessary to keep children, young people and adults with care and support needs safe, our Safeguarding Partners are ensuring this continues to take place.
