We grant a personal licence to an individual, which authorises them to supply alcohol, in accordance with a premises licence. It is a criminal offence to carry out unlicensed activities.
The Deregulation Act 2015 removed the requirement to renew personal licences, with effect from 1 April 2015. Therefore, you no longer need to apply to renew your licence.
When applying for a licence, you must also fill in our disclosure of convictions and declaration form (PDF).
You need to send your completed application form, disclosure of convictions and declaration form, relevant supporting documents and fee to:
PO Box 57
You can also email your forms to email@example.com and send your supporting documents and fee to the address above.
If your application is unsuccessful, you may appeal to a magistrates' court within 21 days of the decision.
