About Enfield Music Service

The Enfield Music Service provides inclusive instrumental lessons to thousands of children and young people, including those with Special Educational Needs. We also run a range of fun and exciting out-of-school music groups and choirs for children and young people of all ages and abilities.

We offer inspiration and opportunities for children and young people throughout Enfield, working with schools and families to provide the best musical experiences in a variety of settings. These range from instrumental tuition and whole class music lessons, to after-school choirs, bands and orchestras.

We are proud to be the lead partner for Enfield Music Hub, for which we receive a substantial grant through Arts Council England.

Supported using public funding by the Department for Education and Arts Council England

The Friends of Enfield Music Service (FoEMS) is a registered charity (No: 1098609) run by parents, carers and friends. They support the Enfield Music Service by providing refreshments and organising raffles at concerts.

Recently, money raised has helped with the costs of music days, t-shirts for Sing Inspiration, Young Voices and a gospel concert, music hire and the German EYSO exchange.

You can help by:

  • becoming a member of FoEMS, which has three meetings a year
  • donating a raffle prize
  • recommending a company that could sponsor an event
  • serving refreshments and selling raffle tickets at concerts
  • suggesting new fundraising ideas
