Our discretionary help scheme assists with the cost of school uniforms for pupils entering year 7 in September 2017.
This fund of £25,000 will help towards secondary transfer costs. To qualify, parents or carers must live in Enfield and receive Housing Benefit or Council Tax Support from us.
To claim, sign up or log in to Enfield Connected and enter all your account numbers relating to Housing Rent, Council Tax and Housing Benefit (this is for Council Tax Support, too). Once you've done this, you can return to this page and apply for an Emergency Payment or Local Assistance Grant.
If the application is successful, you will receive a £50 supermarket voucher. You can either spend this on the school uniform or use it for other expenses, allowing you to free up funds to buy the uniform from a shop of your choice.
Once the £25,000 has been allocated for the year no further claims can be awarded.
