Antisocial behaviour

Antisocial behaviour involves causing alarm or distress to someone who doesn't live with the perpetrator.

How to report antisocial behaviour

If you own or privately rent your property, contact our Antisocial Behaviour team by telephone on 020 8379 4612 or by emailing asbu@enfield.gov.uk.

If you are a social housing tenant, visit council housing.

You can report antisocial behaviour to the police on the following telephone numbers:

  • Non-emergency number – 101
  • Crime stoppers – 0800 555 111
  • If there is an immediate risk - 999

Community Trigger

The Antisocial Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014 gives victims and communities the right to request a review of their case and bring agencies together to take a joined up, problem-solving approach to find a solution.

  • Have you reported the same antisocial behaviour to the council, Police or a registered housing provider three times in the last six months?
  • Do you consider that no action has been taken?

If that's the case you can request a review under a new tool called Community Trigger.

We ask you to provide us with details of the past incidents you have reported, including the dates you previously made reports, any reference numbers you have been given, and the names of any officers or teams you've been in contact with.

You can request a Community Trigger review by emailing asbu@enfield.gov.uk (quoting 'Community Trigger').

What happens next

Once you've contacted us quoting ‘Community Trigger’ you'll receive an initial response within three working days, we will then contact you to confirm if your report has met the threshold and details of how we will conduct the review

Community Trigger is only for people who have reported the same antisocial behaviour to the council, Police or a registered housing provider three times in the last six months and consider that no action has been taken.
