There are two projects at the heart of the initiative. One is the housing regeneration programme in partnership with Housing Associations and the other is the redevelopment of Edmonton Green Shopping Centre in collaboration with St Modwen Properties Plc.

The east of the borough has tracts of strategically important industrial land. This includes Brimsdown, London's second largest industrial estate. Brimsdown includes Innova Business Park, which has a mix of employment, residential and community uses.
However, the area also has some of the borough’s worst deprivation. A programme of social regeneration needs to complement the current physical regeneration works in the area.
