Meridian Water is a collection of vacant industrial sites in Upper Edmonton, around a 10 minute walk to Edmonton Green and Angel Edmonton. It's bordered by Lee Valley Regional Park.

Meridian Water is the largest regeneration priority area in the council's adopted Core Strategy (2010).

The masterplan (and supporting documentation) manages change, development, and all planning applications in the area:

The masterplan explains how the visions and goals for Meridian Water can be delivered and the impact of these changes.

Transformational change at Meridian Water is also a priority for the Mayor of London, who has recognised the importance of supporting the regeneration of the Upper Lee Valley.

The New Southgate Masterplan was adopted in December 2010. You can view the plan and supporting documents by following the link to the masterplan (PDF).

The masterplan is a Supplementary Planning Document in our Local Plan.
