All collections must be booked by 12:30pm on Friday for collection the following week. Any collections booked after this time will not be actioned. Once you have made your payment, your booking is confirmed.
Request an electrical collection
You will need to leave your items out at the front edge boundary of your property by 6:30am on the morning of your booked collection. If you live in a block of flats, place your items by your bin store area or where you normally place your rubbish for collection.
Collections are usually made on Wednesdays between 6:30am and 4pm.
If your items are not out for collection on your booked collection day, you will not receive a refund.
There is a £17.30 charge for cancelling your collection with less than three working days' notice. You will not receive a refund if you cancel with less than one working days' notice.
Missed collections must be reported within 24 hours of collection day. Reports made after this time may not be investigated.
You can request a free furniture collection from the British Heart Foundation, if items are in good condition. This helps to save good quality unwanted furniture from being thrown away. Items are resold and all proceeds go towards heart disease research and patient care.
There is no limit on the number of collections each household can receive. Collections are made Wednesday to Saturday, 8am to 3pm. The BHF will only collect furniture from inside your home. Items must be clean and dry, with fire labels attached.

Your collection day is based on your postcode, however, for a £10.50 charge you can arrange collection for a day that suits you. If you're arranging for next-day collection, you must do so before 12pm. Once you have made your payment, your booking is confirmed.
