Young carers

If you are a carer under the age of 18 looking for help and advice, please visit the sites below.

 

DAZU’s Young Carers Project helps with your added caring responsibilities at home, like looking after a relative who is disabled, ill, or has a mental health problem.

 

 

 

 

The Enfield Carers Centre – If you are 16-18 and affected by care responsibilities in the home we have support on offer at our Young Adult Carers (YACs) Project. You may be helping to look after someone in your family who needs support because they are disabled, have a long term illness, mental health issues – such as depression, learning difficulties, or difficulties resulting from drugs/alcohol use.

 

 

The Children’s Society is a national charity that runs local services, helping children and young people when they are at their most vulnerable, and have nowhere left to turn.
